WRITING TASK

Read the six (6) exemplars of good descriptive writing in the textbook (pp 82 to 86, Unit 16).

Then write a similar passage to match each exemplar, i.e. 1) description of place concentrated on view, 2) description of place at a certain time, 3) description of person concentrated on attitude, 4) description of person concentrated on mood and personality, 5) description of place on first visiting it, 6) description of situation (party, concert, etc.).

Remember to consider language selection, accuracy of words, effect on the reader, experience for vividness.
